The Ultimate Guide On Boots To Own Before Winter

Hello world,

It's nearly time to say goodbye to autumn :( That means saying goodbye to pumpkin spice lattes, cinnamon and daylight past 3pm. It also means saying hello to Christmas coffees and boots galore. Boots are a great staple to own at any time of the year as they practically go with everything. Since we are now in the transition between Autumn and Winter, it's a great time to buy a new pair of boots. Here's the ultimate guide to which boots you HAVE to own before Winter!

The Strong One

I know, I know, I could have come up with a better name for it but i'm tired and this beanbag is so comfy, I just kinda want to go to sleep. By "The Strong One" I mean a good, old fashioned combat or biker boot. The kind of boot perfect for walking through a thick layer of squelchy mud or crispy snow. Not that I'll be seeing any snow...

The Stylish One

Ooooh the stylish one. What would the ultimate boot guide be without the stylish one? A nice ankle boot will go with anything or one of those seriously cute ones with the furry edges will be perfect for a chilly winter evening.

The Heeled One

This is probably my absolute favourite. It's a little more dressy, so will go with dresses and skirts, but can also be toned down to go with jeans or trousers. It's basically an all round good shoe to own and definitely one I would recommend!

At the moment I am loving my heeled ankle boots. I practically wear them everywhere. They are so comfortable, and so pretty for a winter evening out!

The Tall One

I always see people wearing a knee-high boot and really wish I owned them. That is why I suggest you grab them when you can. Maybe material or leather. Zips. Bows. There are so many types- the possibilities are endless.

The Fancy Shmancy One

This shoe really depends on your taste. To one person a fancy boot is covered in silver sparkles and sequins and gems and stuff. To another, a simple, strapped boot works nicely. Whatever your preferences are, grab yourself a shoe that you can wear out to an evening event worthy of the fancy shmancy boot.

My advice: grab one all round pair of boots. Something that is capable of being fancy shmancy, versatile enough to get through some bad weather, and comfortable enough to walk in.

What boots do you think you'll be wearing this year?
